Quaint small town. Plenty of restaurants and bars to support the area. Situated along the Cheboygan river and close to Lake Huron so plenty of outdoor activities as well.

Excellent
Small town feel, but local businesses appear to be doing well. Enjoyed the area and would stop again next time we are in the area.

Did the glass bottom boat trip and it was great. Also went to performance at the opera house. Enjoyed it very much. Went to cross in the woods and kayaking in Indian River. Both wonderful experiences.
"We stayed here in the middle of July. This place was remarkably affordable for what you get. The beach access is incredible. We had a balcony room overlooking the pristine beach and lake. The place was a bit aged but not shabby. The indoor waterpark was a nice bonus, but the waterslides were permanently closed. It was a close drive to the ferry and downtown. The ferry company offered free pickup from the hotel, so we didn't have to pay for parking."
"Beautiful place. The 6 and 2 yr old loved the room as well. Easy and convenient service when coming on and exiting island with luggage. Can’t wait to stay here again. "
"The property is conveniently located near Main Street district, and it is an easy walk from the docks to the Inn. The front porch is an added benefit to sit and enjoy breakfast or just people watch. Good view of the boat slips as well. "
"We enjoyed the lake side beach and view. We bought tickets to Mackinac Island through Sheplers and the shuttle service to the boat and back to Breakers was appreciated. Very clean and comfortable rooms."
"Read lots of mixed reviews before booking. We stayed as a family of 5, for 4 nights. We had a great time. Pool was average, food nearby, lakeside, beach had sand but was rocky in the water - kids didn’t care. We had no issues w our stay. "
