「We enjoy the hotel for the unique style We have been there several times. This time the hotel is looking run down. Needs some updating. Rooms are clean and food delicious. Bar area needs updating」

「Things we liked was the pool and the location to downtown Dubuque. Things we didn’t like were the hard beds, the lack of choices for breakfast, the old school lock system on the doors, the smell of weed in the area of the rooms, the trash cans not emptied and the smell in the stair cases」

「Breakfast was excellent! 2 waffle makers, scrambled eggs, bacon, and other cold breakfast foods. Staff were helpful, turned on the slide for us to swim in the morning.」

「We went to Grand Harbor Convention Center for a Junior Pool Tournament event. Stay in this hotel for a whole week. Very satisfied as far as I concern. The facility is a little outdated. So do not expect it look like a 4-star hotel. But the rooms are maintain really clean. The breakfast is good too. It is right by the river. So very convenient for a relaxing evening walk. I will definitely stay here again if the event is at the same location next year.」

「I've stayed here a handful of times now when I come into town for business. It used to be really clean and very nice, but over the past few years its gone downhill a little bit. Its still pretty clean, but needs to be updated and is not as nice as it used to be overall.」

「Clean. Quiet. Secluded location. Allows dogs for a fee. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaints are that they lock the front doors at night so you have to use the fire exit if you want to leave early in the morning or let your dog out to go to relieve themselves. No staff there before 7am. Also the bed was VERY HARD. My husband liked it but a bit hard for my liking. It's an older property but has been nicely renovated inside. We stayed in the regular hotel not the bio-healing side....

「Stayed in the presidential suite and I was super impressed! The hotel isnt like one if those cookie cutting franchise hotels. It definitely has its own personality. The bed was also so much more comfortable than any bed I have ever slept in. Really great experience for the price.」

「We did not see staff very much. At the front desk we had to call for help when we checked in and out. At breakfast, no one came to check if more of anything needed to have food added.」

「We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!」

「Great location we could walk everywhere. The pool was closed though they should tell you that on line when you’re booking your room. Was very clean and the staff was very nice.」
