"Unfortunately we arrived late and there were no options for food or drinks
Room service only available to 10pm. Nothing in the direct area either for food and drinks.
Staff in the bar near reception were extremely rude and only wanted to seat and serve customers from Japan and not international visitors.
Quite disappointed with this service.
Location was excellent and room amenities also excellent.
I will commend the reception desk staff as our initial flight was cancelled and with an email they were made aware of our situation and held our room that we had paid for without any issues."
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel New Grand Yokohama. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, and the location was perfect—within easy walking distance of both Yokohama Chinatown and Motomachi.
This was a special birthday trip for my elderly mother, and we were deeply touched when the staff member who escorted us to our room wished her a happy birthday. That thoughtful gesture made our stay even more memorable.
The traditional Japanese breakfast was exceptional, with outstanding quality and attention to detail.
What impressed us most was how well the entire hotel is maintained. It was clear that everyone—from the maintenance team to the hospitality staff—takes great pride in caring for this beautiful historic hotel.
