For pre-Covid standards, it’s pretty nice, especially for the money. But for during Covid, I felt it could be a little more cleaner. The bathroom floor looked either dated and scuffed or not entirely clean enough. Appreciated that there are signs for corona etiquette and a bottle of alcohol spray at the entrance, but noticed some other guests wearing masks on their chins or even not at all, so I wish the staff could be more clear about wearing masks when indoor at all times.
Unrelatedly to cleanliness, but the elevators are oddly dark inside and slightly jerk-y, which kind of felt a little too Tower of Terror for my liking.
Front desk are kind, it not lacking in some English skills (if you can’t speak Japanese). They helped us call a taxi from our original address to the hotel, and from the hotel to the YCAT airport shuttle. Baggage storage for concierge is not a problem.
Location is a bit of a walk from Yokohama Station, but it’s not bad and not in an overly crowded area.
For the overall value (money, location, the room size we chose), the stay was good.
