I did a mattress check and it looked like a new mattress. Paint in the wall nice and it was clean. They came daily to change towels and small wipe through. So nothing like the bad reviews. 「The room was fine - quaint and charming but the cleaning crew used pine sol to clean and it was super overwhelming - no windows to open so the air lingered throughout the night and gave us slight headache. I would recommend a different more gentle cleaning option for the room - even bleach would not have lingered all night. Great walking distance from downtown. 」

Absolutely nothing to hold onto - no bar, no soap tray, even the control handle and soap dispenser are out of reach when you're under the shower.
