「The room was really lovely 4*. It was quiet, overlooked lovely gardens. Great size and nicely laid out. But coming into hotel reception was dark and smelt of stale beer....we actually thought of leaving. Staff not very friendly or welcoming, apart from one person in breakfast room who was very helpful...Leo. Food and breakfast were all good. We didn't use swimming pool as it didn't look great and had read several poor reviews. But location was brilliant. Short walk into a lovely high street and...

「We stayed here as a stopover before going to Le Shuttle early the next day. Great location for a stopover, check-in was smooth and easy, rooms very clean and nicely decorated…hotel rooms had a refurb in Sep ‘25. Good pub food as well. Early checkout was also easy with a drop key box for those leaving before reception is staffed. All in all for the price point we would definitely work this stop off into our travel plans for future France trips」
