"Stayed 1 night at the hotel. Got to our room to find dirty socks and clothes by the bed. The staff need to check the rooms properly. Television channels work intermittently."

"The hotel was lovely, superbly located, meters from Westgate. The problem was we were promised a room that would not overlook the parking lot. We came back 2 times, at 12:00 and 2:30, but they said the room was still not ready, that we had to wait till 3 o’clock. We had tickets to punt down the river at 3 so could not stay, but immediately upon finishing it returned to the hotel. To our surprise they then took us to a room that overlooked the parking lot! We asked to be changed and they took us to a tiny room that overlooked a small patio, that was right beside the communal terrace, so quite noisy. It was not what we had hoped for. Having said that, the room and bathroom were pretty and clean, the breakfast was good and the location superb."

"Room was a great size. Bed was super comfortable. Clean and tidy room, would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. Facilities were good, but needed a good clean in the sauna and changing rooms. Breakfast was great, big variety of foods. Staff were friendly, hard working and helpful."

"To say this hotel is advertised as a 1.5 star the hotel was impressive VFM but ... Be aware parking can be very tricky... I drove around for an hour on arrival trying to wait for a spot within a few hundred yards as my car was jammed packed with luggage for next day ferry crossing. I ended up parking on a 2 hour bay in town and walking back to hotel. A bit of a scary prospect. (2 hours only counts from 08:00 -18:00 so just about feasible but security wise I wouldn't recommend. Otherwise I'd have been considering a top rating."

"This property does not look much from the outside. However, one can’t judge a book by its cover. This property has been newly renovated. The staff are all exceptional and very helpful. The good is good. The amenities are great. A fabulous breakfast included in the price. Buffet continental and a-la-carte hot meals all included. Overly garden area. Very nice bar and lounge uk relax and a great location. Highly recommend."

"Arrived late afternoon no one at reception didn’t have to wait too long. Checked in fine only then to be told lift broken and we were on 4th floor!!!!! Long way to go with heavy case no assistance offered. Good location parking not great but found some on street payment parking. Room good size shower very low pressure water not very hot and toiletries very minimal (probably enough for one person per night not 2)"
