「I met three staff during my stay, Maggie, Kelly and Ian - the really are lovely people. Despite a busy shift they still made time to make me feel welcome. We had wonderful discussions on the historic hotel which has history going back hundreds of years, from the Jacobite Rebellion to an American President and even the Queen of England! The original marble and woodwork are visible throughout the building. A historic masterpiece. I absolutely intend to come back! Thanks all!」

「Lovely country pub and stay nice cooked food and breakfast which is decent size to start your day . Rooms and nice and roomy and comfy got everything you need all clean and tidy . The rooms attached to pub are great if you’re disabled . The staff are lovely a really nice family run place so welcoming in a beautiful little village with gorgeous surroundings peaceful . Loved it will be back again .」

「I booked 2 rooms, both of which were excellent, very clean and beautifully furnished, recently fitted bathrooms with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs. We could not find any faults at all with our stay...
