Mandalay Bay Resort And Casino

"Stayed in the W side of MB. The rooms were immaculate with great space and comfortable beds. No refrigerator however made for some inconvenience (bar fridge only). Housekeeping was friendly and provided any and all needs quickly. Front desk staff was efficient and helpful. Restaurants had some waits that were a little long, but they are seemingly understaffed and many tables remained open for both breakfast and dinner while the lines continued to grow. Was not at all impressed with the pool area much to my disappointment Chairs are packed in so tight you can not get to them without tripping over the next one. The pools were far below the quality I expect from a Las Vegas pool area. It felt cheap and tacky outside and nothing about the area had me wanting to stay there. Music from the "adult pool" (a day club really) blasts out over the entirety of the pool area and a quieter place to relax doesn't exist. I did not use the spa because the cost for a day pass for a guests of the property is astronomical for so little. The casino is generally clean except for the overwhelming odor from the smokers. I used to remember the Mandalay Bay smelling clean and tropical. Shops in the mall area aren't anything special. Overall though, the property is nice despite the negatives I listed. The staff really do elevate the property being the best part about it other than the rooms in the W. I would stay there again for an event in the stadium, or for the upcoming ballpark"

"We have stayed on the strip many times over the years but never at the Venetian… truly we will Never stay anywhere else again! We had a lovely time there with our family in using two children. The staff was so helpful and accommodating, the pools were incredible, pretty centrally located to a lot of fun things, honestly we didn’t really need to leave the hotel. There are so many fun shops, places to eat, treats and pools! So fun! We will go again for sure!!"

"My room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The rose garden, even though excessively decorated for Halloween, was a very pleasant spot in which to have my morning coffee. The coffee provided wasn't great. However the shuttle service to Disneyland was! All of the drivers I encountered were pleasant and helpful, some even playful. My only real issue was with the shower curtain. It was too short (or hung too high), and didn't stay inside the tub, so a shower resulted in a pond on the bathroom floor. It made for a slippery floor and was a nuisance to clean up. Another guest mentioned her room had the same problem."
