「This was a nice place for our stay and we were able to upgrade to a suite since my old dog couldn't walk up the stairs. When he took himself for a walk, the staff were very kind and even tried to keep him as a new member of the housekeeping crew. The location was close to food options for dinner. Though we didn't use the lounge, I really appreciated that it was there and would have been a nice way to relax after a long day of travel. 「The property is not well maintained. There was what appeared to be a large blood stain on the comforter, an old donut under the heater, and broken toilet seat. The property overall is very worn and dirty. The staff were polite. But I would not recommend staying here.」

「To be frank, we were skeptical pulling into Estherville about how nice the hotel might be. We were very pleasantly surprised at how updated and clean the hotel is. Very nice pool and hot tub, breakfast was on the simpler side but did not disappoint. Staff was polite and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!」
