「We had an awesome stay at this quaint little motel that sends you back in time. The bed slept great and the room was clean. We had a huge window that looked out over the river. There is a nice covered pavilion with gliders and picnic tables, fire ring and grills right by the river for your enjoyment. 「We loved that the property was close to town but very quiet. There’s a wonderful view of the mountains from the second floor wrap around porch. It’s a quaint establishment with some history. We enjoyed two outstanding breakfasts. Paul is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. 」

「Our room was comfortable though it needed some minor maintenance - lightbulb out, loose shower grab bar. Breakfast was average. The hotel is very close to a grocery store, gas station and a few fast food choices. My dogs each got a gift bag at check-in. 」

「We originally booked a room for 2 nights online and the web showed us a room with jacuzzi and river view. We got there and had a regular room with a small tub and kudzu blocking our river view on First floor. Was not happy so we spoke to owners son who quickly moved us to the second floor with a jacuzzi and awesome view of river. He was very kind and helpful. My husband loved the river and trout fished for two days!! Very convenient to everything and very clean room. Will definitely stay there...
