"we had an executive suite that was comfortable (use to be a premium suite during her cruising years), but the position of the tv made it a bit of a challenge on passing the king size bed without knocking without knocking your shoulders. having the option to open the windows was a bonus as we looked over the bow. our stay included a look into the many lounges and the engine room below, but the ship must NOT lock all doors as it was just about impossible to get back inside and is considered a hazard if the ship had an emergency to abandoned ship and people would be stuck on the decls above the promenade. the included breakfast was ok, most everything was tasteless or was chewy like eating cardboard (small pancakes)...pastries and fruit was nice. "

"Great central location, spacious and clean rooms. The hotel is located on a quiet street. Need to press the door bell to enter the main hotel door. Well-decorated traditional rooms. Within walking distance to Nieuwe Tram and Dijkzigt station. The breakfast offers a simple variety of eggs, bacon, hot dogs, bread, ham, cheese, snacks, yogurt, apple juice, orange juice, coffee/tea, and fruits, etc. The free Wi-Fi connection is good. The hotel staff is friendly and gracious. Overall, good value for the price-I'd stay again. "

"The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept well. No noise at all on the high floors. I had a service issue and staff were concerned and were addressing the problem. All communications were clear and considerate. I found the area of town close to all the things a traveling couple require. I would return here and recommend it."

"I stayed at the Bilderberg 2 years ago and thought it was excellent. So much so that I returned to the Bilderberg this year. The facility has been renovated and the results are beautiful. The lobby is open and multiple check in kiosks/computers are available. The rooms seemed larger to me and the decor was wonderful. Breakfast at the Bilderberg was more than adequate and I hate the thought of returning to my old breakfast practices in America.(Maybe I can do it on weekends.) The staff is very helpful and answered travel directions with a flip of their cell phones, whether it was the Metro, the tram,, bus, taxis, etc. Everybody was able to answer questions in English or Dutch and I imagine in other languages, too. We stayed at City Inn at Radison Amsterdam West but preferred the Bilderberg in Rotterdam."
