The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and shower was big. We appreciated the small fridge and the cold jug of water. It was easy to walk to all the sights we wanted to see, and there were several restaurants nearby to eat at.

Excellent hotel!

Lovely hotel! The rooms were wonderful and comfortable, staff were really welcoming and helpful. We had a great weekend here and would definitely stay again! It was also a great location, where it was easy to walk and cycle around town, close to bars and restaurants as well as the main station. Thank you so much!

Super Supernova

Supernova is in a great location: quiet but with lots of options to eat out nearby, and walking distance to the central area. To a person, staff members were lovely: friendly and accommodating. The hotel’s design made the stay feel like a special treat. And Rotterdam itself was a special place, having a calm, relaxed feel but a great city vibe - lots to do and lots to see.

Property was very clean and modern but with a boutique feel. The staff were so helpful. Bar area was nice. We didn't have breakfast but it looked acceptable but nothing special. The room was clean and very comfortable with a very sweet balcony. The only downside was the AC was very bad and it was 28 degrees when there so the room was very hot to sleep at night. The bikes were very useful and we used them for 3 days to get around. I would recommend and stay here again

We enjoyed this boutique hotel located just a bit from city center. The room was spacious and the food and drinks from their kitchen was excellent. The breakfast buffet selection was great and you could order your eggs to your liking. We had wine and the charcuterie board -also excellent.

Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The front desk staff were all absolutely wonderful- friendly, kind and helpful. One of the front desk staff, Telma, particularly went out of her way to help us and did so with a constant smile while humming a happy tune. Highest possible recommendation for this awesome hotel.

Be aware before booking

Beautiful design hotel, but function of the room is not good. Our room had steep stairs from bed to bathroom, and not full high for persons over 170 cm in the area around the bed. We were “offered” to pay for an upgrade to a different room, but same challenge, ceiling too low, you will be crawling into your bed. Before booking, pay attention to the pictures of the rooms and assess yourself cause this is not described on hotels.com

It was the second time I stayed in this hotel. It is clean, friendly and helpful service, offers parking for max 1,80m high cars nearby and their rooms offer plenty of space also to stay in a double room with a toddler. Unfortunately their bikes to not offer an option to carry kids.

Rotterdam Boutique Hotel

We really liked the Supernova Hotel, which is a quirky boutique hotel in a nice location. Rotterdam is quite manageable, so the location of this hotel was very good. We had booked a family room, which included a loft with an additional queen bed. This was exactly as depicted in the room description. There was a very nice sitting area in the room, and a door out to a garden area that we really liked. It is a quiet property, at least when we were there, and the front desk was very helpful. You can easily walk everywhere. Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Nice hotel but not good experience

Nice and comfortable and room. Everything was clean, however, there was an intense smell of sewer in the bathroom. The smell was even more intense in the reception area when I was doing the check-in. They have a problem in their pipes that must be solved. This made the stay not very pleasant. Furthermore, I didn't like all the rules they have and the demand of a deposit fee. Still waiting for they to refund the deposit. This didn't make me feel welcome there.

This hotel is quirky, but in a nice way. It is an old property in a nice neighborhood that has been renovated to a high standard. If you are not on the ground floor, the stairs are steep with narrow treads. There is small elevator. Not sure about other upper floor rooms but ours, 101, had a large deck to step out into with a small table and two chairs. It gave a pleasant view onto an adjacent plaza. Some ground floor rooms have a small green space out side. Coffee and tea in the room. TV only seems to have streaming. A mainly cold breakfast is available for a charge but they will do some fried or scrambled eggs on request. At the moment, only a limited selection of pizzas are available albeit very good quality ones. There are a number of good restaurants in the neighborhood within a 5 to 10 minute walk. The young lady who checked us in was charming and looked after all our needs, including serving us drinks and making pizza while running the front desk. The morning staff were equally as good. We ordered a van to take six of us plus luggage to the cruise terminal through the hotel. Cost was a very reasonable 34 euros.
