「The room was quite clean and the instructions to enter the property were quite clear. Parking can be a little tricky as it gets filled up during night time outside the property. However, there are options to park your car nearby. Overall, the stay was great as the room was comfortable and clean with a great view.」

「The door of the en suite shower would not open properly and once in the shower it was difficult to get out !! Some shower gel would have been helpful. Overall the accommodation was very nice despite the steep steps up to the property. The decor was very tasteful and extremely clean and spacious. 」

「We have been staying at the cottage for a number of years. Perfect location. This year the property wasn't very clean as I would expect. Wish have bath sheets and not a small bath towel. But worth staying at the property or Heather cottage. I believe owned by same owners」

「Clean and fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds and accommodation. Perfect location for hiking and ambling into town. Special views from the apartment. Decor a little dated, power shower excellent but cubicle small. Missed having a washing machine for sports gear. Would book again as Ambleside and the Lakes are wonderful. 」

「Hi, hope this helps, we found the cottage’s location is great having never been in a town one before. Great to have all the amenities to hand, we thought it had everything that one needs, just a little tired looking. Our main criticism was the lack of outdoor space for the dog, and as one of the cottage’s plus says it’s pet friendly, it is NOT. We would have considered the cottage again but only if we don’t have a dog, the likelihood of that happening is pretty slim.」
