This property is in an excellent location and makes a great base from which to explore Ambleside. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent.

Second stay at Elder Grove, and loved it as much as the first time! Super clean and comfortable. I slept well every night, and breakfast was wonderful. Be sure to try the Orange Marmalade, it’s outstanding! On top of everything else the staff was warm and welcoming. The service was excellent. I highly recommend!

Lovely B&B a few minutes walk to the centre. The owners are super friendly and the room was very comfortable and large with ncie views of some of the surrounding hills. Very good breakfast. Easy parking on site or the road just round the corner from the hotel. Would recommend and would stay again
