"I'd have had this one as a five having staying in loads of other hotels on this road. My wife would have had it as a four as the room was quite small. But the room is quite small because this is SW1. You won't get much bigger unless you want to pay 3x the price. So call it a 4.5. The staff we great, the place was clean and tidy and although there was only a shower rather than a bath, that worked really well and it wasn't one of those like in the other hotels in the area where if you're sat on the toilet, one of your legs has to be in the shower because that's the only way you'll fit. The only thing I'd say is that I'd check disabled access if you have mobility issues. The building is what it is and although there's a lift, we had to walk either up or down half a flight of stairs to get to our room once we'd reached our floor. But I'd definitely recommend staying here. It's in the perfect location for just about everything."

"Super cute area, very accessibly from train station (which we took directly from the airport, couldn’t be easier) and lots of food options near by. Also close enough to busy tourist spots without being in the head of it. We checked in really early (8am) for an extra 30 pounds—totally worth it to shower, change and get on with the day. We didnt return until late night and realized we forgot to bring the door code with us. The staff were very helpful, even after hours, and helped us out when we called. Small little room but enough for what we needed! Easy key drop off to checkout the next morning. Overall it was exactly what we needed and the price point was excellent!"
