"It would have been five stars if we had been able to cool the room which was far too hot at night. The window opened which helped somewhat. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful and airport shuttle was great. We were told that the air conditioning was not yet available as it was too early in the season - April. "

"The staff at the hotel front desk were very friendly. However, the shared bathroom/shower was not clean most of the time and not well designed. The bedroom was ok although a bit depressing. The common areas were clean and comfortable. "

"Very helpful staff and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Rooms very clean and hotel also very clean. Well situated for the Metro (O’Donnell or Goya) and a short distance to the Retiro gardens. Easy to get to from the airport on Bus 203 (5 Euro per person when we took it). Lots of places to eat nearby & hotel food really good. Check out the cafes and bars in Goya. Gym small but plenty of apparatus - treadmill, 3 bikes, X-trainer, weights machine and weights. Highly recommend this hotel for visiting Madrid."
