Hotel located 5 minutes by car outside the historical centre of Alcala de Henares, close to the motorway to Madrid airport (about 20 minutes). An excellent option to stay close to Barajas while enjoying the beautiful Alcala

It is a very nice hotel. However you need a car. If you are a leisure traveler looking to explore Madrid, this probably isnt the place for you. It is a nice property with a very nice breakfast buffet. The front desk staff were very helpful.

Bathroom design concerns

Excellent except for a design concern in that the bathroom door does not shut tight. Odors can escape. The frosted bathroom door is not appropriate for every occasion. Not all guests sharing a room are intimate couples!

I liked the neighborhood, the property is located about an hour from Madrid. We had a problem with our safe but was fixed on our return back to the hotel. Housekeeping did a good job. As someone who works in a hotel, the front desk should understand that foreigners need extra guidance and explanation, not look frustrated. I’m a Spanish speaker, so communication was not a problem, the attitude was.

Good business standard. Hotel near to highway

The AC Hotel Acala offered us accommodation at a reasonable rate while the prices in Madrid were exorbitant. The hotel is 30 Kms from central Madrid and can be reached within less than one hour by car. A car is essential when you stay in this hotel. The rooms are modern equipped with comfortable beds, a relax chair, and an office chair with desk. The WIFI is reliable. Unfortunately there is no kettle in the room. The bathroom is modern, but the ventilation is insufficient. There is a McDonald and some other two fast-food joints nearby. For any other restaurant visit a car is required. Breakfast is charged at 14.- € and expensive comoared to the food selection. The hotel has its own parking at 11.- € / night. There is ample public street parking available
