It looks more modern than the current picture on Expedia. The single room has lots of space, very close to the station, convenient. They provided everything you need, bath salts, even PJs ! Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Hotel New Nagano NeXT
Excellent central hotel in Nagano, very close to the station (around 5 min walk). We checked in late after the Shinkansen from Tokyo and the process was quick and efficient. The breakfast was good and twinned with Wendy’s so there was the option of a burger as well. Clean and tidy hotel.

We stayed for one night. The staff provided excellent service, although they don't speak English well. The room was spacious and clean. There is a kitchen and washing machine with dryer, which are suitable for long stays. 30 mins drive from Karuizawa Station. In winter, the road becomes slippery ...
