"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "Our stay here was amazing. I'm just sad that we only had two nights here, as we could have happily spent several days exploring the local area. We enjoyed the traditional Japanese inn and rooms, which were simply and beautifully decorated. The communal baths were nice, and I especially enjoyed the Hundred Year Bath, a delightful outdoor stone hot spring bath. We loved the private onsen, which we booked both nights of our stay. The ryokan is located near to many restaurants and bars. Tyler and Mari will tell you about the various options in the area and answer any questions. If you want a traditional Japanese ryokan experience, we highly recommend Kamesei Ryokan."
