"Very impressed. The staff were excellent. The accommodation was very clean and we were in a lovely quirky room with a fabulously sloping floor that really added character. The only thing to mention was car parking was a little limited but other than that we had a really good experience. "

"The bus stop right outside takes you in to York which was very handy and we were able to leave our car on the hotel car park all day. "

"Unfortunately there was a large amount of building work going on and out room directly overlook the building work so no view whatsoever ever. Asked about a room change and the duty manager said there was nothing available didn’t offer any alternatives and didn’t ask if we would like to upgrade at a cost to ourselves. "
