This is a quaint property in a rural area. Very welcoming and friendly, with some nice touches (the best ever brownies in our room). I know it’s an old property but some of the areas of it could do with updating ie stair and bathroom carpets. I also found the shower difficult to use.

The best B&B!!

one of the best b&b we have experienced. beautiful room and very friendly owners. breakfast is very good, in a beautiful garden room overlooking the garden. the location of the B&B is also very good, close to all kinds of tourist attractions, including beautiful York. this B&B is highly recommended!

For anyone wishing to visit Yorkshire this place is outstanding. Fantastic room, brilliant breakfast, thoughtful and caring staff, quiet, nearby friendly pub and situated close to the lovely village of Coxwold. What is there to dislike? What a lovely surprise this little town was. The location was lovely with a country cottage feel. The owners were lovely and clearly love their home. Some efforts to renovate the bedroom are needed to bring the standard up.
