「we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...

「Stayed for couple of nights in rm 19 which was modernised and had a Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom which made my day. Bed was comfy, room was clean, large tv for whoever is interested in this, kettle, plenty coffee and tea. Roo. Was quiet, location just across from the ferry, the building itself was stunning. Electric heaters in the room and you can adjust the temperature and a fan for cooling down. I haven't used the bar or restaurant. I have asked if they served meals and been told 'is...

「Take an umberella for the walk from the hotel to the resturant as there is no cover outdoors. There is no air con in the rooms had the leave the patio door open during the night.」

「Beautiful hotel, great rooms and a very pleasant and (proactive) helpful staff. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for diner but alternatives were provided. I arrived with a large bike case as I was going to do some bikepacking in the Argyll and it was no problem at all to leave my bike case in the hotel for a week.」
