Hotel is very run down, we waited at the reception for a bit before being seen to! Hallway and stairs are in need of a good clean and paint! Very run down. Room was freezing, no heating on. Damp on windows and ceiling and that was supposed to be a refurbished room! Needless to say we didn’t stay and left straight away! Out of pocket. Light fitting in hall hanging down from ceiling (dangerous). Hallway hadn’t even been hoovered. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!!

Room and staff were good. Was required to pay a damages deposit on check in which seemed unusual and was not expected. Only issue was the loud noise from the disco downstairs (only on Friday and Saturday nights until 1am) which there was no prior warning about.

Decor very tired and in need of renovation. Very long wait for room to be ready, despite arriving 90 mins after nominal check in time. Warned about noise from live music , however this was right below my room and noise continued well past 1am (not music, patrons leaving, band clearing up). could not recommend a stay at this hotel, at any time, but especially on a Saturday night.

Absolute rubbish

From our driver that we booked this for. This was my accommodation last night . With respect none of you would have stopped here . No bathroom ( that was down the hall ) No toilet ( as above ) No kettle hence no coffee/ tea facilities It wasn't clean . I only stopped because I was shattered .

Horrific excuse for a hotel

If you’re after broken fixtures, sleepless nights, and complimentary back pain, this is your dream destination. - The shared toilet had its seat broken off by another guest during our stay. The sink and door frame in our room? Also smashed. The place felt like the aftermath of a demolition derby. - The mattresses were so uncomfortable they could double as medieval torture devices. Pillows? More like decorative tissue paper. - Soundproofing does not exist here. You’ll hear every nightclub guest shouting, fighting, and shouting at each other until 4:30am. Honestly, it felt like they were in our room. They do say on here that there may be a high level of noise, but you really can't understand just how loud it is until you're there! - The beer garden was a hotspot for drug use, the place stunk of weed as the doorman looked on. My guess is they were guests and weed was the only way they could get to sleep! - Towels? Don't be silly. Bring your own or dry off with your dignity. No sense of safety either. We genuinely felt unsafe—between the smashed-up facilities the chaos outside and noisy guests in the hotel, it was like staying in a low-budget horror film. - The price? Totally unjustified. You’d genuinely get more peace and comfort sleeping in your car. Avoid unless you’re into adrenaline-fuelled insomnia. It will be a waste of time making a complaint about any of the above as the management couldn't care less about their guests. We left 2 days early.

I was going to write all the details of why not to stay here but have decided it’s not worth my time Can’t believe we paid the amount we did to stay in this dump. Shame on them for false advertising and shame on Expedia for including this listing. Should have driven another 30 minutes to Glasgow and stayed at a decent place. Icing on the cake was NO HOT WATER IN OUR ROOM IN THE MORNING - stay away from this place!

The room was extremely hot with no functioning air conditioning or proper ventilation, we complained to staff and asked for another room or a fan, no solution was provided. Needless to say none of us slept as we were in and out of the shower all night to cool down. We are seeking a full refund.

This would be without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed at - shocking attention at check in - they were more interested in debiting our credit card for the potential of trashing the room - as if - we are both in our 70’s We were not informed about wifi - I now understand why as it either froze or simply dropped out The ensuite door would only open about 300mm before being stopped by the bed The walls are paper thin - we listened to the people talking as if they were in our room until 04:30 am There was offer of breakfast or dinner even though the website boasts of both There is a pungent smell as soon as you go into the ground floor which is greasy and dirty Very poor Andtew

This property is awful. The photos shown online draw a person in, only to find a bait-and-switch situation. The entire place is completely run down. We didn’t even stay there one night because it’s a dump. Paint was peeling off the ceiling in our room. The entire place could use an update to the 21st Century. Motel 6 has higher standards than they do. A local B&B owner offered us one of his units for free when he found out we were staying there. Stay away!!

Do Not Stay in Lomond Park Hotel

The floor was dirty, There was no carpet, The sink was dirty, Bed side lamp did not work. No paper in Toilet untill I found a little in a cupboard. Noise from adjacent rooms untill 01.00. Could not sleep untill then. Was like the walls were made of cardboard!

Terrible experience!

Upon arrival at hotel I was informed that the shower wasn't working and I could use a communal one. The rooms were pretty poor quality with mold in the windows. I was supposed to stay 3 nights, but checked out after the 1st night. The hotel changed me again after i had paid through hotels.com. I'm still waiting for the balance to be refunded. The noise at 4am was ridiculous with other guests partying until 7am. I'm hopeful that I will receive the monies owed, but not convinced it will be that easy?

Offered room available during a refurb. Didn’t know until I got there. No hot water that night (which can happen in smaller premises) but none again the next morning. The radiator in the room wasn’t putting out any heat as it needed bleeding. The floor was filthy in my room and there was little sound proofing for other rooms either side as I could hear everything they said even at 4am when the bloke next door decided to call home! Bed linen was clean and mattress comfortable. Met 2 staff members who were lovely. Wouldn’t stay again. Emailed Dannielle the general manager requesting a refund but have had no reply.
