「We have stayed at the duke at least 5 times and always love it. This time we had a really lovely room bigger than we have had before which was great. The hotel has been kept in keeping with the style which I think makes it unique. Highly recommend a stay.」

「This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!」

Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking. Gorgeous communal space - would be super if travelling or meeting with a group.」
