「I had a great stay at this Best Western. Best hotel in Lampasas. Very clean, great rooms, and comfy beds.」

「The room was a suite, but the A/C was in the bedroom and did not cool the front sitting room. The room in front had a ceiling fan, but it was hot in that room. The A/C performed poorly and sounded like a carwash - constant water hitting the car sound. Next, no cold water in the sink or bath tube. I mentioned this to the desk person the next morning, and he acted like he had never heard that comment - c'mon, they had to have known.」

「The room was clean and had everything we needed. The only real issue was operating the air conditioner. There seemed to be three settings: cool, heat, and dry. It was on "dry" when we arrived and it was very cold in the room. Changing the temperature setting did not make a difference. I tried switching to "cool" which did make it less frigid, but it also weirdly made the room feel more humid. We were never able to get it adjusted to a comfortable setting. He did not explain the hotel's amenities and was not helpful when I asked about changing my room, even though I offered to pay for an upgrade. In contrast, the lady at the reception was friendly and professional, and the breakfast team was warm, attentive, and provided excellent service.」
