"This is a definite gem to stay in. We reserved a room with a view of the Colorado River. It was pleasatly perfect. (Only a few have balconies). Every single staff member was friendly (front desk, housekeeping, and at breakfast time). In fact, we had a last minute crib request which was delivered to our room without delay. The rooms are spacious and clean. Housekeeping took care of refreshing them daily. The breakfast rotated items each morning. It was mainly standard fare with a special item added each day. Very fresh and hot. The pool overlooks the Colorado River so, it is a nice way to finish a hot, Texas day. There are 2 restaurants in the parking lot, as well as a downtown area with several other eating choices only 2 minutes away. We will always stay here for future visits. A great value for your money. Highly recommended."

"Our room is clean, the exterior might need a little spruce up. The back of the hotel is very peaceful with lots of area to chill. The breakfast is good. The staff are friendly. We haven't got the chance to use the pool area but its clean. The place seems to be safe, we didn't encounter any mishaps. The location is superb. It's very near to the historic downtown. We'll go back to this hotel for sure!"

"The only downside to our stay there was the breakfast was upstairs and it’s impossible for my uncle to climb the stairs and it was hard for me too. They did put a table downstairs and assisted with getting our breakfast down to our private table."
