"Very nicely built wooden chalet. The mattress is of 5 star hotel standard. Good farm view from the balcony. There may be noise from the railway but the balcony glass door is well sound proofed. Owner of the hotel was very nice indeed. Highly recommend Artisan to anyone."

"We stayed here with kids 12,11 and 8. Was cozy and a great location, I’d caution younger kids because of the loft but mine were ok. There was no breakfast foods there as mentioned in other reviews so I think that’s a thing of the past. Overall we enjoyed this stay"

"We absolutely adore this Japanese homestay nestled atop Jiufen. The room is immaculate and spotless, and the hostess serves delectable breakfasts every morning. On clear days, the view from the dining room is breathtakingly spectacular, allowing you to see the entire Jiufen town stretching all the way to the ocean. It’s a beautiful and awe-inspiring sight! "Everything was perfect, pretty good location if you don’t want to be too close to the city center, bus stop 6 minutes away from the hotel. Uber/taxi to the center is around 4-10€(depending where you’re going Jiaoxi, Wai’ao Beach etc) I would recommend and gladly come back !"
