"So I booked this hotel (presently staying in) after reviews averaging 4.2 about the decor, ambiance, staff and amenities. I must say I'm rather disappointed with some of these which I'll expand upon below:
First - the shower head - leaking in both functions of jet and shower leading to a reduction of pressure (raised issue with Bell captain and he could only have the issue looked at the following day without option of room change, mind you it was flagged before 4pm).
Second - flooring/carpeted areas, there are as you can see from the attached photo areas of carpet experiencing significant fatigue/fading.
Third - Noise the level of internal noise stemming from hydraulics, water, waste and neighboring guests is atrocious for a hotel of such "rapport".
The staff present themselves in a professional and courteous manner that does not correlate to the quality or lack thereof of the rooms within this property, they too deserve a hotel that fits the way in which they present themselves (impeccably).
If you're looking to stay near Ginza, Shiodome, Shinagawa or Tokyo station this isn't the place."
