Location very convenient! Close to train station, shops and restaurants and in a quiet area. From the hotel t was easy to get around to other parts of Tokyo including Shibuya and Shinjuko. The staff were also very friendly and helpful!

My son and I stayed at Section L for a week in the deluxe twin room. The room was perfect. It had everything we needed (refrigerator, washer/dryer, cooking stove and supplies). The room was spacious enough that we did not feel cramped. We had a separate dining area to enjoy our meals. We loved that the toilet was in a different room than the shower and sink so we both could get ready for the day. The staff was amazing. Very helpful in recommending places and assisting with whatever needs we had. They went above and beyond in making sure our stay was perfect. And it was pleasant to talk to them on our return from outings; they became like friends. The hotel provided an umbrella to use on rainy weather. And it was a quiet location. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to be back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Section L Ueno! We got a “family suite,” which was two adjoining rooms. The space was perfect for our family of 4. It was great to have a separate room for the kids, since they go to bed earlier than the adults. We took advantage of the in-room kitchen and ate breakfast in our room each morning, which allowed us to get out and about more quickly. The in-room washer/dryer was so convenient. The staff were fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and so kind. The location of the hotel was perfect: close to multiple train stations, walkable to Ueno Park, 7-11 and Family Mart right around the corner, but also very quiet. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

Messaged the hotel via Expedia three separate times. Responses were always given within 3 hours. Stayed for 11 nights. Two adults and two children fit comfortably in the room. Shoe shelf/ complimentary slippers and a full length mirror on the left. Beside is the bathroom which contained a sink and mirror, toilet/bidet with an attached sink to reuse handwashing water and a separate soaking tub/shower room. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap provided. On the right is a small capacity single washer/dryer machine (did all of our laundry in one load each night). Laundry detergent provided. Beside is the galley style kitchen with a flat top stove, sink with dish soap/sponge, toaster oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer combination. The hall opens up to the sleeping/eating area. Two twin mattresses pushed together that would easily be the size of a king mattress and two separate twin mattress that could be used as couches when the long bolster pillow is added. There is a circular table with three stools between the perpendicular twin beds. There is also a clothing rack with at least 10 hangers. The room was very clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and spoke English. Great location. Family mart was literally across the street, Yushima station was a 5 minute walk, and the major Ueno station was a 15 minute walk. Very quiet area. Would 100% stay there again and recommend to family and friends.
