Good location with museums, temples, train stations, park etc within 10-30 mins walk, very clean and modern but weird layout half way between apartment (multiple rooms, fridge etc) and hotel room (no living room area or kitchen table, nowhere to really hang as a group). Comfortable otherwise

The Good- Spacious, clean rooms. 2 rooms that can be partitioned off which is great for families. Laundry facilities. We were able to store our luggage before check in and after check out. Very close access to the station. Uguisudani is on the Yamanote line, but is not a busy station, so it's hardly crowded. Unfortunately the lift to the station overpass was out of order during our stay. The Bad- While the location is convenient, the hotel is situated near a busy road and late night restaurants. We could hear street noises, people chatting loudly below, and sirens blaring at midnight. Even with windows shut, you can see lights coming through the window. We stayed on the 4th floor and our bedroom had the large neon hotel sign right outside our window. I highly recommend the hotel install some double layered glass, or window seals to block out the street noise and a light block-out solution for the windows at night. Know before you book- no lifts, only stair access. We knew this prior to booking.
