"I booked this motel for my family who were visiting Auckland to spend Christmas with me, and I was hoping to find somewhere close to the ocean, as we all love the beach.
From the moment I made the booking, the motel owner contacted me and suggested a suite with separate sleeping areas, which was perfect for our family and gave us extra space. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful — they even allowed early access so I could decorate the suite for Christmas and surprise my family.
The motel is just a few minutes from a beautiful beach and a lovely café, both of which we visited many times during our stay.
This place is incredibly welcoming and relaxed, truly a home away from home. We loved everything about it and will definitely be returning again and again.
I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was a wonderful experience, and we will always cherish the special memories we made here.

"The staff was so accommodating! We ended up needing an extra night so we booked via a different website and the staff combined our two reservations and even switched us rooms when a fan wasn’t working to an upgraded view! We were so extremely comfortable and it was the perfect location right in main Devonport a one minute walk to the ferry which we took everyday downtown."
