This hotel was perfect for my work trip to Akl. It had blinds that blocked all light, a super comfy bed, great shower, and was really quiet - these are my must haves for work travel. In addition the location was great, staff were wonderful and the room was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

Small, compact room where the space is extremely well considered. Lovely subtle - but - effective design flourishes, and simple gestures that mean the room is very useable and comfortable. Reminiscent of another of my favourite hotels - The Standard X in Fitzroy, Melbourne. It’s great to stay at a hotel where the amenities are well-considered, and the staff understand what hospitality is about. The service was friendly, warm and ver efficient. This is not an ‘overstuffed’ American-style hotel; rather it is compact, cool without trying too hard, and perfect for a few comfortable nights accomodation within easy striking distance to the cool places to check out.

Room was compact but okay. Noise from room above or next door woke me several times. Booked with breakfast and for the extra cost was not worth it, very limited choice and more like a snack. Was told coffee machine was out of action and wasn't offered anything else. Reception staff were great, restaurant staff not so much.
