The hotel felt secure and stylish, in our room the bed and linen was really comfortable and good quality. The gym facilities were easy to access and freely available and had a great running machine and a lot of other equipment. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of quality hot and cold dishes. Not too busy on a week day.

Overall the Ibis Ellerslie was great and we would stay there again. The highlight was the amazing gym facilities. The restaurant food was ok. Vending machine and sky channels were appreciated. The only things that let the stay down was that we werent given hand towels and the rooms are super tiny as in there is room for 1 person to walk around the bed and thats it.

The rooms were basic but clean. The staff at this hotel however are a 5/5 - I was absolutely taken aback at how friendly and courteous they were. Professional fast service and just lovely to interact with. I travel for work all the time and the staff here stood out as exceptional.

Smiling is free. If you're front of house you should be able to interact with people in a friendly manner. If that's going to be difficult for you perhaps choose a person or people who are able to.

Staff were friendly and polite, rooms are basic with a weird shower door setup that will get water everywhere in bathroom. Outside wee noisy roadworks late into the evening - including jack hammers. Purchased a carpark but when got back that evening there was no space so they refunded me and i instead paid to park down the road and walked back- not ideal.

We didn't like the small room. We had a king size bed. The room was very small. The jug was in the wardrobe. The shower and toilet where in like a small plastic bathroom. Had to pay $20 Xtra for the parking but the second night their where no parks so had to park our car somewhere else. Bed was comfortable.

Your restaurant meals don't live up to the expectation created by the words on your menu.
I have only stayed twice at Ibis in the past year and have eaten dinner both times in-house. Overcooked protein and overpriced both times. Happy to expand further if someone wants to contact me.

Your front of house were excellent. They were helpful, friendly and effective. In particular, I would like to recommend Rodrigo who made our stay into an excellent experience. We will be back.

The parking situation is a joke. Most guests have to park a 10 min walk away and even if you can find a park inside the hotel grounds by there is a barrier that keeps breaking down, trapping everyone inside the car park.

Room was average, app to order room service would not connect . Meal was cold when it did arrive. One dispenser for face body and hair wash - how miserly and low class. In the morning , at 10.30 the restaurant was already closed even just for coffee - which was available only in the bar that was understaffed - and served in a take a way cup - are you kidding? The hotel was fully booked and I am left with the impression management cut corners and skimp on what the marketing communications offer.
