「Loved everything about this place. The grounds were amazing, hotel itself was beautiful and our daughter enjoyed her spa time. We ate at the bar and grille and food was very good, the buffet breakfast in the other restaurant was great and late night cocktails at the lobby bar was lots of fun, the staff were all amazing and so friendly especially Sean, the concierge or manager I’m not sure. Would stay again for sure. 」

「We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. 」

「Great location across the street from the beach/boardwalk. Breakfast was excellent and service staff very friendly. We were away from the bar, so the noise issue that some reviews reference was not an issue for us. As this area is popular with locals, parking can be an issue. 」

「We stayed at Rafter's for our first night in Ireland, and it was a great start to the trip. The location was perfect, only about a five minute walk to Kilkenny Castle. 「This hotel's exterior doesn't even hint at what's inside. The area is spacious, flowing and absolutely lovely in the lobby and Waterfront restaurant. We drove all over Ireland for the past 2 weeks and this is the only hotel that had a shower curtain so the floor wasnt flooded (those half walls do nothing, especially when you can't adjust the showerhead to not spray outside the shower stall) and a bathroom exhaust fan so the mirror didnt steam over.
