"Room absolutely stunk. Wet carpet smell and blocked drains. Luckily we stayed for only one night. If we were staying for longer, we would have gone elsewhere. We woke up in the morning and left straight away because we couldn’t even sit in the room because of the smell. Have never experienced a smell like this. Have had to wash all luggage/bags because the stench is in them. It was vile. I have contacted the hotel saying they cannot charge people to stay in that room. Lift and hallways stunk of rubbish/bins. I put our rubbish in the bins in the carpark when we were leaving and bins were overflowing. First time reviewer here for any hotel as I am so disturbed from the smell! "

"We have a Lovely stay in Novotel Brisbane. We had a confortable room With 2 Queen beds and Is great when the husband snore! We enjoyed the out side pool . We had a wonderful stay in Novotel . "Was ok...nothing special."

"Its a very out dated facility and not worth the money paid. No smart tv, the blinds dont shut properly so the light(thats never turned off outside) comes through, the bed was very uncomfortable and had a massive lump in the middle, no microwave, no toaster, only had terrible instant coffee, no pod machine, a kettle and long life milk. You have to climb into an old rickety bath tub to have a shower and the tap is at the other end. Unless this place was the only available hotel in an emergency I'd probably not go back. "
