Amazing location. Great facilities and so many top activities for the kids. Fam favs were the ATV tour, the sand tobogganing and of course the dolphin feeding
Lovely stay at the resort - had a family unit which had plenty of space for the 3 of us (including 7m old baby). Only downside was the shower was a bit hard to get right but wasn’t a major. Lovely beach front views. Food options are limited at the resort / restaurants so worthwhile bringing your own lunch from the mainland if staying a few days (and have a fridge in your unit!)
Restaurants in the resort had variety of options for different dietary requirements

We had a lovely stay at Tangalooma. Room was lovely and spacious. Activities are pricey but we anticipated that.
It would be better was if there was a water taxi out to the ship wrecks, not sure why this is only offered on cruise ship days. Also book activities ahead if cruise ship is to arrive that day, those days the resort is packed (including restaurants), as most things will book out. It is about a 30 minute walk out to the wrecks.
Food options are limited. Buffet breakfast is super average, but for the kids it's worth it.
For the price of rooms, not sure why no daily service. A few things seem to be service cutting for the sake of the dollar. Understandable for business, but Osbourne family have significantly moved away from their family value roots.
What an amazing location! The beach is stunning and the wildlife is incredible. Sunsets were something special! Very close to Brisbane and easy to get to. Very comfortable rooms with great views. Lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. Not a huge range of dining options on Mondays and Tuesdays but we were only staying a couple of nights so that was ok. Please buy some new tennis racquets and balls!
The food service was quick & efficient with good portion sizes! Room was comfortable & very quiet even in the middle of the day with lots of people outside the room was still fairly quiet surprisingly. The customer service at front desk over phone could use some work in manners & focus to helping the customer as best as possible - very short, clueless & rude answers with no solution tips or effort to solve or help. Otherwise the stay was 100% worth every minute & dollar!
My family and I liked the tropical, relaxing atmosphere. The grounds were well maintained and the staff were friendly. Loved our stay and we’ll definitely be back 😎
Tangalooma is a hidden gem just over an hour by ferry away from Brisbane. The island resort is fantastic, with tours and activities for everyone. Feeding wild dolphins is incredible!
The staff are all wonderful and there is nothing you can fault about the place!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great location for family holidays, general facility are lack of maintenance, like courts, lobby etc. But outdoor space are great. Activities are expensive but unique experience
We stayed in apartment next to the jetty. Staff are amazing, very helpful. Booking activities were easy. The only downside was the rooms were not very sound proof.
A friend and I spent a couple of days at Tangalooma Island Resort recently. Tangalooma is on Moreton Island which is off the coast of Brisbane. The Tangalooma Island Ferry is the normal means of transport to and from the island, about a 75 minute ride and it runs multiple times each day. The resort has many accommodation choices, many venues for food and drinks, and many options across a wide range of activities. In our case it was just unwinding for a couple of days, doing nothing much at all, and Tangalooma provided exactly what we were after. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful, and we'd like to say a special thank you to Dante from B&B's Bar, for his excellent service and always with a welcoming smile.

Chips and more chips
Staff are enormously friendly but the menu choices are limited and often run out. I think only one or two dishes come without chips. Could use a couple more options.
Outlook is beautiful beach is clean and accessible to most.
