"This property is very close to station just 1 min walk which liked very much. Also the breakfast was very good it had lot of items which I liked too. The room doors and bathroom faucet does need some attention but overall not a bad place to stay. We received our room on the 4 th floor so got spacious balcony which was attached with our room. "We loved our stay at Borgo di Colleoli. A peaceful place with nice accommodation surrounded by beautiful Tuscan hills. Most tourist destinations are about 45-60 min drive, but it's worth it. I also lived the complimentary shower gel and shampoo infused with olive oil. Smelled fabulous."

"Wonderful place to stay to soak in the views of Tuscany. The pool area with views are gorgeous. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were clean, property was quiet. There are a lot of dining options a 10 min drive away in the town of San Casciano. You definately need a car here. Absoltuely wonderful stay, the highlight of my trip!"

""This place serves the best breakfast in all of Italy—truly unforgettable! The pool is spectacular, never crowded (guest-only access), and perfect for a relaxing dip. The gym is a great addition, well-equipped and convenient. The spa is fantastic, though some amenities like the sauna, showers, and relaxation areas aren’t included unless you’re staying in one of the wellness rooms, which is a bit unusual compared to other luxury spas. Still, the overall experience is top-notch, and I’d highly recommend it for a luxurious getaway!""

"Our stay at Poderi Arcangelo in the rolling hills of San Gimignano was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the views were the kind that stop you in your tracks – especially at sunset when the Tuscan hills glow gold. The food was exceptional every day, with authentic local flavours that made each meal a highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming and always tried their best to help, adding to the charm of the place. The location is perfect for exploring nearby treasures such as San Gimignano itself, Certaldo, and Volterra. One thing to note – a hire car is essential. Public transport is virtually non-existent here; we couldn’t get a bus at all and taxis, while available, were scarce and very expensive – we spent €400 on just three journeys. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, though it would have been helpful to know in advance. Also, while the property is beautiful, there’s no real indoor bar area for relaxing before or after dinner. There is an outdoor bar, but it only opens on weekends and closes at 18:00, so an early evening drink isn’t always possible. Despite this, we had seven days of bliss and would return in a heartbeat – next time with a hire car, ready to explore every corner of this stunning part of Tuscany. "
