「Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. 」

「Perfect stay at the George. Beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming with very attentive staff. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and although it was at the front the traffic was not a problem. We had both breakfast and dinner for two nights and were not disappointed, plenty of choice and all beautifully cooked. All in all an excellent stay at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.」

「Stayed here 2 nights. The chef Elvis outdoes himself with Michelen star quality meals. The Crab Salad and Pork Rigatone were faultless. Best meals I have eaten in Europe. Friendly bar staff and spacious room with first class bathroom. Mattress needs replacing though.」

「A clean, warm and tidy accommodation which is convenient for walking down into Buxton centre. We stayed just one night for an Opera House theatre show and it was great for that. On street parking nearby was easy.」
