Nice selection of food and drink at breakfast, use of the swimming pool was an added bonus. Great sized cooprate room for a family of four. Ideal place for an overnight stay when visiting Sheffield Arena.

Very good attention to detail. Spotless room, very friendly staff and especially the young lad bar tender - he was excellent. The food was the highlight for us - we had the giant fishcake, pate and a burger. It was by far the best restaurant experience we've had locally. Highly recommended!

Lovely clean room perfect for my family of two young children staying … Clean and comfy bedroom, plenty of added extras - mini fridge, iron, hairdryer etc. pool was lovely - warm pool and steam room/jacuzzi very nice. Tasty brekkie with so many options including a cute children’s table! Staff friendly and helpful and went to extra mile to make us a hot chocolate on the evening for our children with cute smiley faces on when that technically wasn’t on sale at the bar… We will definitely be going back! Thank you

Staff, service and food were excellent. Exactly when you'd come to expect from a Holiday Inn. Sadly however the room looked tired and in need of some much needed TLC with a distinct lack of beside plugs and although the room was at far end of the building and away from general foot traffic it was right above the air handling units and plant so was noisey at night. The pool and locker rooms werent much better. The locker room was dirty (however, it was late in the day) and there was a nasty smell and the pool generally needed a refresh. All in all.though if you just need a base for a few days close to the motorway and Meadowhall with good food then this is worth a look.

I was very disappointed with the stay. The room was badly in need of decorating, cleaning and repairing. The window was wide open when I arrived; maybe to ‘air’ and disguise the musty smell? The ancient and dirty looking air con unit provided a source of heat but there was a constant draught from the windows. When I contacted Reception, they came to check that the ‘heater’ was working but didn’t show any concern about the wind which was blowing through the windows which would not close properly. They brought me a small fan heater and I was told it was the only one left!! It was useless as it was incredibly noisy and just stirred up the dust in the room. The hotel is extremely overpriced for the standard of the rooms. The only positive I took from the Holiday Inn, was the friendliness of the reception staff. I would not return to the hotel and would definitely not recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and well equipped and the breakfast was lovely. We will be coming back next year!

The room was very clean, fresh and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have breakfast. Air conditioning worked wells, turned it up high because it was December with a little snow and freezing. Had to turn it down as it got to warm. The only thing I found missing was no biscuits in the room. First hotel we have been to that do not have biscuits. In addition to this, there was no information in the room that told us what times were for example, nothing telling us what time the leisure facility’s were open/closed. What time was check out.

Stayed here a few times, room was better quality than previous family room we stayed in, beds comfortable and lots of space, but cleaning could have been a little better. hairs in shower area and child’s toy found just under edge of bed. Breakfast provided a good range, but eggs were overdone when cooked to order. Pool, sauna and steam room is a bonus and staff friendly and helpful. Ate in restaurant one night for convenience, but was a long wait despite not being busy. Staff were proactive in apologising for the wait and offering a round of free drinks.

The room was an excellent size, easy to get to, and easy to park. Room service was ok, as long as the bar is not busy. The noise from the road was a bit noisy, if your room is at the front of the hotel.
