"Thought we were getting a cabin as advertised but got a crummy second floor walk up. Blinds wouldn’t close and curtains did not cover whole window letting the light from the LED sign shine in all night. Big disappointment seeing the nice cabins but getting stuck in this room"

"Staff was very friendly and it's a great location if you don't want to be near tourists hotels. Only issue was the noise from above floor but it wasn't able to be corrected even though they made it seems like that could. Rating 3.5 out 5! Definitely suggest booking on the 4th floor instead."

"McMenamins Edgefield is an experience, and we've stayed there a number of times. The rooms, for the most part, are from another era (it used to be the county "poor farm"), but the grounds are spectacular, the heated outdoor pool is stunning at night. The food is somewhat expensive, but my wife and I shared a grilled Ahi appetizer that was outstanding- probably the best I've ever had. It was a hot day (89 degrees) the last day we were there and the Strawberry Basil Crush (with some fancy Vodka) was fabulous. McMenamins is also known for its sturdy home brewed beers. There are several restaurants and numerous places to imbibe (I can think of at least 8) - including some that are almost hidden on the property. It's a mob scene if there is a concert booked (Bob Dylan was playing a couple of days after we left). But on non-concert days you can wander the property, take a dip in the pool and check out the remarkable gardens in relative peace."

"This historic hotel is in an epic location above the Columbia Gorge with amazing views! The staff was absolutely amazing. Michelle at the front desk was the sweetest ever! Rooms are beautifully decorated as is the parlor and main dining room. Just a wonderful experience for the price!"

"It’s a sweet hotel. The room was clean and the staff was super friendly. There is no fridge or coffee machine in the room, but they offer excellent coffee downstairs. And a free beer! And lots of restaurants and shops nearby."

"Subject: Urgent: Formal Complaint Regarding Wrongful Eviction, Manager Misconduct, and Financial Damage – Troutdale, OR Location To Motel 6 Corporate Management, I am filing a formal complaint regarding an appalling experience at your Troutdale, Oregon location (NW Frontage St) involving the General Manager, Brian. My wife and I stayed at this location for 26 days. Midway through, we checked out and checked into a new room to ensure compliance with any maximum stay policies. On our final day, I booked and fully paid for our room through Expedia at 10:30 AM. I went to the front desk that morning, updated our key cards, and was told everything was fine. This was our daily routine, as I am paid daily and book daily to utilize Expedia's lower rates—a practice the front desk staff accommodated every morning without issue. What makes this situation entirely unacceptable is that I interacted with Brian face-to-face nearly every single day of our 26-day stay. He had dozens of opportunities to politely mention any policy concerns regarding our booking methods or length of stay. Instead, he chose to remain silent for weeks, only to wait until 8:45 PM on a fully paid night to launch a hostile, unprovoked eviction. This lack of communication proves his actions were not standard policy enforcement, but a premeditated, targeted attempt to strand my wife and me without shelter late at night. During this incident, Brian aggressively accused my wife and me of "scamming" the hotel simply b"
