OUR || boat adventure to Stehekin and the North Cascades. The most remote place in the U.S. only accessible by boat and/or seaplane . There is no road access to Stehekin, though roughly 22 miles of road exist there (it's Lake Chelan 😉 ) It is reachable by passenger ferry -the Lady of the Lake, by foot (hiking) over the Cascade Pass, by private boat from Chelan, or by floatplane. The vehicles in Stehekin have been barged there on Lake Chelan. Best places are untouched by civilization if you ask me #travel #outdoor #adventure

The Lady Express passenger boat is docked for an hour layover at Stehekin after a fifty-five mile journey to the head of Lake Chelan. A North Cascades National Park bus provides transportation to the park nine miles away. No roads lead to Stehekin.

The Staff (Cameron) was friendly and accommodating. The room itself was cozy, clean, and had a great view of the highway running through the downtown area. It was also walkable distance to most central tourist locations.
