The room itself was very clean and comfortable. It had a bit of strong smell--not bad, just strong and somewhat spicy/woody. It is a wooden cabin after all so I'm assuming maybe it's from that. Far exceeded our expectations! The view is breathtaking and the grounds are immaculate. The cottage was a perfect place to stop and rest at the halfway point in the North Cascade loop. Highly recommend.
