"Great value compared to other properties in the area. We opted for the renovated room and appreciated the updated furniture and bathroom. No AC but weather was good in early June. Able to open a window that had a screen. Enjoyed the balcony as well. Kids took advantage of the free mini golf and bike rentals. What a treat! The indoor pool was nice and just big enough for grandma to get a workout while the 4 kids played. We appreciated the two restaurants on property and both were good. They also make a pretty good Caesar. It’s also located close to a village with good coffee and breakfast options (walking distance). Overall, we had a good experience for two nights in Lake Louise. We had 10 people and 3 rooms next to each other."
"The front desk staff was exceptional. They greeted us every time we went by and answered all questions about sites around town. Location and parking on site was great. Enjoyed views from rooftop"
"Hotel was nice and in a gorgeous location very close to the city. Our 3 day stay was quiet and there was room for our crew and more if we needed. Mid July prices are higher than the norm, but not crazy in comparison to other places."
"The hotel was really nice. I didn’t have a great view from my window but the rest of the room was amazing. We absolutely loved the pool, and the location was pretty good so everything was within walking distance.
I will say the one downside was the staff seemed ill informed. During the time I stayed I asked if I had to get a park pass and two different people at the front desk said yes. But when I looked it up it said I don’t because the government was allowing people in national parks for free. When I mentioned it, the person at the front desk had no idea. So she asked the concierge who said I had to get a special Canada Strong pass and need to go to the visitor’s centre. I did that and they said it’s not a physical pass and I don’t need to register. It’s just automatically free if I come during those dates. This was a bit annoying because 3 staff members at my hotel didn’t know about this and they probably should since they work in Banff."
"The little bungalow was very clean and appropriately updated. We had the best view from our porch and living room! Check in gallery was super helpful. Hike to the falls was amazing!!
The mosquitoes were terrible and they had no bug repellent or ice in the store at all. And no ice cube trays in the freezer. A bug zapper would have been nice on the porch or even inside since they were so bad."
