「Great location , friendly discreet staff . Good size rooms of a good standard and I overslept and they extended my check out by 1 hour free id charge. Amazing.! I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con. I will not be using them again. I can recommend...

「Nothing wrong the aesthetics of the hotel and appeared clean. Staff were good. Just the second Marston’s Inn in a year that I’ve been bitten badly by bed bugs. Reported and hopefully will get sorted. 100% will not stay at another Marston’ Inn.」

「Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.」

「The property was a sort of student residence on the University of Sheffield Campus , in a very beautiful setting . I stayed during an unprecedented heat wave , there were no air conditioning or fans available. There were limited soft drinks , coffee and croissants available . Halfway through my stay I became aware that one of the neighbouring buildings was infact a hotel with full catering service of a very high standard where accepted non residents for meals . 「I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.」

「Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations.」

「The blind bull is a little slice of luxury set in an idyllic location and providing top flight services. The food is amazing. The staff are very kind and helpful and accommodations wonderfully sumptuous. Highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.」

「Do not use the postcode alone as it takes you further up the road to the wrong property. Only stayed for 2 nights while we did the big hike marathon but the property was very nice, it could do with a little TLC for minor things on the decor but nothing that really bothered us. Very close to Bakewell & a lovely pub over the road with nice food & service. Bit tight on parking but we managed to get on no problem. All in all a lovely stay & would like to return again.」
