「Overall it was a good stay. Rooms were clean and quiet and the staff was friendly. One day they didn’t attend to the room, the pillows were very thin, and their system overcharged parking by $300 (but once I caught it they fixed the error.) Overall I’d stay again, but we’d bring our own pillows.」

「The Property is full of old world charm and very well maintained with all the major amenities provided. The manager was extremely informative regarding dining, entertainment and tourist options. Location is very close to theatre district but be prepared to travel a bit further to if you want multiple dining options. 「The suite we were in was not great. The lighting is kinda poor, the hot water in the half bath was just droplets, the room is divided by a door but the bedroom has zero AC vents or airflow, the bathroom fans didn’t work at all, the phone wouldn’t dial to anywhere on or off property, and the halls were just as humid as outside. The wheel, swing and carousel were hits with the kids, but it’s costly. Also don’t get the pork steak at the Train Shed, it’s terrible.」

「This was the coolest hotel I’ve stayed in, probably ever. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and nothing but lovely. The rooftop is gorgeous, and the beds, bedding and pillows were like sleeping in a cloud. The curtains completely darkened my room and I barely heard a sound like you often do from the streets, hallway or other rooms. When you enter the hotel, it’s like a scavenger hunt with lots of doors that have hidden art behind them. The actual lobby is on the 12th floor...

「Be prepared for the dress code standard at this property, collared shirts required at the bar and restaurant no hats in the lobby. you must be well-dressed to lounge in the lobby although it is permissible to traverse the the lobby in street clothes provided you don't work there the rooms are made available to guest but are owned by the Missouri athletic club and it has Country club type rules it's an excellent place to stay but be prepared for this before booking.」
