The hotel was beautiful. I can not stress that enough. However, when we went to bed, we did not sleep well. The A/C kicked off in the middle of the night, the matress was not that comfortable, and the street traffic was loud. Other than that it is a beautiful place to stay and the staff is amazing

Be prepared for the dress code standard at this property, collared shirts required at the bar and restaurant no hats in the lobby. you must be well-dressed to lounge in the lobby although it is permissible to traverse the the lobby in street clothes provided you don't work there the rooms are made available to guest but are owned by the Missouri athletic club and it has Country club type rules it's an excellent place to stay but be prepared for this before booking.

There is a not hat rule and no sports gear(waived on game days). The hat rule is 100 enforced but in a respectful manner. The inside lobby and lounge shows why it’s on the national register. Great location for game day. Only “down side” I can think of is, the rooms are small, but the location and beauty of the hotel makes up for the size of the room

Love the property but it is old. Public areas are well maintained. The room we had was showing it's age. The sitting chairs need replacement. Nearly fell through when sitting the first time. Safe parking. Room was clean and comfortable but small. My only gripe would be that you can't access even the "casual" restaurant unless you wear a polo shirt so we couldn't get breakfast. The hotel is in great location. It’s in a historic building and the room was no frills, clean, and perfectly fine. It’s downtown so road noise from revving engines is a thing. The staff is great and friendly, and vending machine prices were super cheap. Bed and pillows were comfy, towels and water pressure were fine. It had a big closet, which is something older hotels have. I’d definitely stay again.

No frills, however it’s so beautiful and clean. The price was right!! If there were any amenities we were not aware of them. The woman that checked us in was less than friendly. Our room was very hot the first night. The air condition is not controlled in the room but rather generally by the staff. So you have no control over the a/c. It is a historic building. This being said the rooms are small and the street noise is incredibly loud. It felt like there was drag racing outside our room in the street all night. Literally could not sleep with all the noise outside.

The hotel is beautiful, the room was clean, and the staff is very nice. We stayed here for a concert at the Dome at America’s Center and it was PERFECT as it is a very short walk away. It was also very nice to be able to park in the parking garage for the Missouri Athletic Club for a fee of $30 per night with in and out access! It is also important to note that they have a dress code of no hats or athletic wear in the lobby but was not a problem for us if we were just going straight from our room to outside.
