Our room was very hot the first night. The air condition is not controlled in the room but rather generally by the staff. So you have no control over the a/c. It is a historic building. This being said the rooms are small and the street noise is incredibly loud. It felt like there was drag racing outside our room in the street all night. Literally could not sleep with all the noise outside.

We picked this location due to price, pictures, location and only needed a clean quiet comfy bed and place to sleep for 2 days. This was 100% not where we will go in the future, as bed was a rock and so uncomfortable. Room was hard to figure out air as an old wall dial system with no labeling or info on how to turn on. Paint was chipped all around with cracks and walls, tub, etc had a very unclean feel due to bad paint job. One minor inconvenience also not stated on Expedia is the dress code and no athletic wear allowed and the $30 per might parking fee. We could really overlook all those things BUT the noise level heard from our room was crazy, everything slams, you can hear every conversation and noise inside and out.

Safe parking. Room was clean and comfortable but small. My only gripe would be that you can't access even the "casual" restaurant unless you wear a polo shirt so we couldn't get breakfast. Overall it was a nice stay here and the staff are friendly and professional. They offer a shuttle to and from the ballpark.

Our room was small, but clean. We were right by the elevator shaft and it was incredibly noisy at all hours. For some reason at 1:36am someone felt that was a good time to do some sort of work in the elevator and there was what sounded like hammering for about 30 mins on and off that was annoying. Luckily, it didn’t wake our baby. The TV also didn’t work for several hours due to some cable issues, but I can’t say that was the hotels fault. Staff was friendly. Location of the hotel is great. Close to everything downtown and a short walk to Busch Stadium. They also offer a shuttle to the game which is nice. We’ve stayed here before and will likely stay again. Just do yourself a favor and make sure you’re not next to the elevator.

The hotel is in great location. It’s in a historic building and the room was no frills, clean, and perfectly fine. It’s downtown so road noise from revving engines is a thing. The staff is great and friendly, and vending machine prices were super cheap. Bed and pillows were comfy, towels and water pressure were fine. It had a big closet, which is something older hotels have. I’d definitely stay again.

Hidden gem right next to the convention center. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to most of downtown attractions and restaurants.

Had to pay extra to use the gym/weight facility. Parking for guest is $30 per day in garage. There are restaurants near by for lunch or dinner but breakfast, well, keep looking.

I had called to make adjustments to a prior reservation. I was told it was handled and good to show up on Thursday night. Upon showing up, I stood at the front desk for 25 minutes before anyone showed up. Keep in mind, about 5 or 6 hotel associates passed by and none were able to help and only were able to say “I’m sure she will be back shortly.” When she finally came back, there was no acknowledgement of the long wait and she was rude. She confirmed everything would be connected between reservations. The room was extremely old and the fan/light kept turning off so it was hot and stuffy in the room. I dealt with it and moved on. I went out the next morning to take care of what I needed and got back to the room around 4 only to find my keys weren’t working. Went back down to the front desk and found out they didn’t handle the reservation appropriately and now needed new keys. Got back into the room and it was hot. I decided it wasn’t even worth it at the point and just got into my car and left, making the 5 hour drive, eating the cost for the room. I have to come back a few more times and I’ll stay literally anywhere else.
