Fine breakfast but only instant freeze dried coffee, and few options if you don't want a fry up. Immediate area full of litter on streets (like most of Barry). I know this isn't their fault but it's a location point. Overall a fine place to stay but I'm surprised current reviews are quite so high -- afterall, a warm and friendly welcome should be expected...

"The hotel was great, lovely interior and very friendly and helpful staff. Only issue there was no car park although I saw there was meant to be. There was a sign to a car park for the hotel but it was closed off and we were informed to park across the road and pay Ā£24 for overnight parking at the back of a stadium. Had a wonderful stay other wise."
