Lovely hotel, modern, great staff and facilities. Breakfast was lovely, everywhere super clean. Decent gym and pool. The rooms were perfectly nice but the bathrooms could do with a bit of modernising (maybe a retile to walls and floors?). Also great little kids area. Would thoroughly recommend (especially compared to the price and standard of a well known hotel in the city centre that some family members were staying at...)

A warm welcome, and a good location, close to the main railway station, but also close to the Harbour. The breakfast was good, the staff on the front desk and in the restaurant were incredibly helpful and the leisure facilities were all working well. Last but not least, the soft play area is a great amenity for families with toddlers. Definitely recommend. Thank you.

We were put into an accessible room, which was not required. no sockets by the bed, only at the opposite end of the room. Other than that, it was lovely, with great facilities.

This was our 5th time staying here, the new play area is just fantastic. As always the staff are so helpful, the gym/pool is great and it's generally a great place to stay with a young family.

Breakfast was good, lots on offer for my coeliac son, and the man working in the bar and on breakfast was lovely and helpful with a lovely big smile. The room was ok but carpets are in need of updating and the bathroom door didn't shut at all. Was ok for me as was there with my children but would've been a real issue otherwise.

Me and my family loved staying at Novotel, it feels nicer than other hotels we’ve stayed in. The pool and spa facilities are wonderful but much better earlier in the morning and later in the evening as there is less people. The staff are supportive and attentive. Eilidh was absolutely fantastic. The customs shed staff were brilliant, we had a lovely tikka masala. The waiter Anthony was a delight and a credit to the hotel. So lovely and genuine! Overall, we had agreed that if we were to come to Cardiff, we would come back to this hotel only as it’s simple yet fantastically effective

This is a great location, walkable halfway between town and the Bay. We stayed in the terrace suite on the 5th floor, which has a balcony area with views over Cardiff. Lovely pool and good selection at breakfast. Car parking was £16 for 24 hours. Would definitely stay here again

The room was ok but we had a problem with the mattress that was dealt with straight away by reception and house keeping. The room was clean but tired looking. Thank goodness for A/C. Breakfast was good with alot on offer for all tastes. Very central and walking distance to Cardiff City centre. Perfect for a concert.
