「I enjoyed my stay at Torrington Hall. I was in St Albans for work and needed a room at short notice. The self check-in instructions were sent to me in advance and were very clear. The room was lovely, with good wifi, a desk to work on, comfortable bed, and a smart TV so I could login to Netflix/Prime. 「Communication was non-existent - despite sending plenty of messages through the Expedia app, in the end I only got to speak with the owner when I was stood right outside the property. The beds are next level uncomfortable - very springy and one of them had a proper dip in its middle. Not recommended.」

「Staff were polite and helpful, the room was serviceable and quiet. The furnishings looked quite tired though, both the rooms and hotel in general could probably use some renovation. This is a great place if you're only staying a couple of nights.」
